NatureSpot
The EcoCentre is collaborating with CrowdSpot to partner with City of Port Phillip to bring you ‘NatureSpot’ — an exciting chance for you to be part of collecting important information about the creatures and plants that call our City home.
Record your flora and fauna sightings online, anytime, and tell us what animals and plants live in your backyard and neighbourhood.
Baykeeper Impacts
The current Port Phillip Baykeeper has a history of advocating for the health of Port Phillip Bay for over 30 years.

Education
Our schools and ELC programs allow students to connect to their local environment, especially Port Phillip Bay, St Kilda Botanical Gardens and Aboriginal Cultures and history. Students will be empowered to take sustainability action within their school, community and at home.
Our programs and excursions are linked to outcomes from VEYLDF, Victorian Curriculum and ResourceSmart Schools.
Community Garden
Garden Working Bees & harvest meal: Fridays 10am - 2pm
The EcoCentre garden is a shared community garden featuring Aboriginal cultural plants, a rain garden, heritage vegetables, a propagation area, heritage fruit trees and an organic waste composting system for the local neighbourhood. The produce is shared by those who help to grow it. It is also an educational garden with a strong focus on sustainable gardening practices.
St Kilda Repair Café
What do you do with a broken toaster? Or with a bike when the wheel runs out of true? Or with a sweater full of moth holes? Toss it? No way! Bring it to the St Kilda Repair Café and let one of our volunteer fixers make it as good as new while you learn new skills and enjoy a cup of tea.
2-5pm on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Last repairs start at 4:15pm.
